Ground Zero Printmakers Studio (GZPS)


  • To maintain a print workshop.
  • To provide exhibition opportunities/space.
  • To teach, encourage, and develop the art of printmaking within our community.
  • To promote printmaking with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
  • To encourage exploration in experimental, innovative and alternative printmaking

General Membership is available to all interested in printmaking.

GZPS meets on the First Tuesday of the month from 7pm to 9pm. Hands-on Mini Workshops alternate with business-at-hand meetings.

GZPS holds an Annual Members Exhibition and participates in the Xchanges Annual Open House. We have a library focused on printmaking and related subjects, an archive of studio prints, and members’ original prints available for view and purchase.

Studio Membership studio members have 24/7 access

Facilities for Etching, Intaglio, Relief, small Water-based Silkscreen, and related mediums are available by the year, month, and week.
Studio fees include most basic supplies (with emphasis on low- to non-toxic)
Studio Training (8 x 3-hour sessions) developing basic competency for independent work in the studio.

  • explore new creative avenues in printmaking
  • brush up on previously studied techniques
  • develop skills for specific projects

Multi-media in Printmaking Discovery Week

Beginners: July 14–18, Monday to Friday
Advanced: August 04–08, Monday to Friday

New members are welcome on an ongoing basis.
