Ashley Culver’s work focuses on transformation of common everyday objects, such as food. In Study of a Membrane she pushes this transformation to the state of unrecognizability, which will entrance viewers with the delicateness and sublimeness of the membrane. Study of a Membrane will give viewers a new perspective of an object that is so familiar.
